1. Summary

All credit purchases and subscription payments made to .resume are final and non-refundable. By completing a purchase you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.

This policy applies to every paid feature of the Service, including one-time credit packs, monthly subscriptions, and any future paid plans.

2. Why We Don't Offer Refunds

Credits are consumed the moment an AI operation is performed on our servers. Each request incurs real costs that we pay to upstream model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI via OpenRouter) and infrastructure vendors (AWS, Supabase, Upstash). Those costs are not recoverable once processing has occurred.

Because the Service is digital and delivered immediately on purchase, we do not offer a cooling-off period, partial refunds, or pro-rated returns. You are responsible for reviewing the pricing page and confirming your selection before checkout.

3. Subscriptions

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis. When you cancel a subscription:

  • Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • You retain access to any credits already granted for the current cycle
  • You will not be charged for the next billing period
  • No pro-rated refund is issued for the remainder of the current period

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current cycle.

4. Credits

Credits granted by a subscription or one-time purchase are:

  • Non-refundable once added to your account
  • Non-transferable between accounts
  • Without cash value
  • Forfeited if your account is terminated for breach of our Terms of Service

Credits do not expire for as long as your account remains active and in good standing.

5. Failed and Duplicate Payments

If your card is charged but credits are not delivered to your account within 30 minutes, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we will investigate. Where the failure is due to our error or our payment processor's error, we will either credit the account or issue a refund for the specific failed transaction.

Duplicate charges caused by accidental double-submission will be refunded in full after verification. Submit a request through the in-app feedback widget with the transaction reference.

6. Chargebacks

Before disputing a charge with your bank or card issuer, please contact us. Most billing questions can be resolved quickly.

Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first may result in immediate suspension of your account. Accounts flagged for chargeback fraud will be permanently terminated and all associated credits forfeited.

7. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy removes or limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law.

Residents of the European Union and United Kingdom have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive. This right is waived once digital content (AI-generated output) has been delivered to you, which occurs the first time you use a purchased credit. If you have not used any credits from a recent purchase, you may request a refund within 14 days of the charge.

If you believe a refund is required by law in your jurisdiction, include the specific legal basis in your request and we will review it in good faith.

8. How to Request a Review

We review every request individually. To request a refund review, use the in-app feedback widget and include:

  • Your account email
  • The transaction reference or payment receipt
  • The reason for your request
  • The legal basis if you are claiming a statutory right

Requests are typically reviewed within 5 business days. We will respond in writing whether the request is approved, declined, or requires additional information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves or as payment terms change. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" above. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers.

Any refund request is evaluated under the version of this policy in effect on the date of the original charge.
